Dr. Cris Johnsrud, principal of Pathfinder Research, Inc. has more than 20 years of experience in providing research, consulting and management support services in the area of technology-based economic development.

She collaborates with Federal laboratories, universities, business incubators, and private firms to improve and strengthen technology commercialization capabilities, strengthen leadership, and capitalize on growth opportunities.

She conducts economic development research projects, manages the Southeastern US regional office for the Federal Laboratory Consortium for Technology Transfer (FLC), and helps researchers and innovators learn how to think entrepreneurially about their discoveries and inventions. She is also a founding partner of Research 2 Revenue, LLC--a company devoted to helping entrepreneurs and tech startups win and manage grants. A grant writer, she helps SBIR and other grant applicants present accurate, compelling and sharply focused narratives to improve their applications and proposals.

Dr. Johnsrud's most recent publications have focused on best practices for partnerships, emerging models of business incubation, and technology transfer. Professional affiliations include the International Association for Management of Technology (Fellow), Society for Applied Anthropology (Fellow), American Anthropological Association, National Association for the Practice of Anthropology, Florida Business Incubation Association, and the Gainesville Area Innovation Network (Board of Trustees).
